SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed with Bella Luna Gowns LLC and should be read together with our Terms of Service, Returns, Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy, and Custom Order Policy.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Shipping & Delivery Policy.
1. PRODUCTION TIME AND SHIPPING TIME ARE SEPARATE
Bella Luna Gowns specializes in made-to-order, made-to-measure, custom, and couture garments.
Production time is separate from shipping/transit time.
Custom and made-to-measure garments may require up to approximately 16 weeks of production, depending on factors including:
- design complexity;
- customization;
- fabric availability;
- lace availability;
- embroidery;
- beadwork;
- handwork;
- material sourcing;
- customer approval timing; and
- other production requirements.
Shipping time begins after production has been completed, the garment has passed final inspection, and any applicable final-photo review or approval has been completed.
Customers should not calculate their expected delivery date using shipping time alone.
Bella Luna Gowns recommends ordering approximately five to six months before the wedding or event to allow sufficient time for production, shipping, and any local alterations that may be needed.
2. ESTIMATED U.S. SHIPPING TIME
For standard U.S. orders, carrier transit is generally estimated at approximately 2–6 business days after shipment, unless a different shipping service or estimate is stated for the order.
Transit estimates are provided for planning purposes only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Business days generally do not include weekends or carrier-observed holidays.
Bella Luna Gowns does not control carrier transportation networks and cannot guarantee that a carrier will deliver a package within its estimated transit window.
3. WEDDING AND EVENT DATES ARE NOT GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATES
Customers may provide their wedding, quinceañera, travel, or event date to help us understand their timeline.
However, providing Bella Luna Gowns with an event date does not, by itself, create a guaranteed delivery deadline.
Customers are responsible for ordering sufficiently in advance to allow time for:
- production;
- shipping;
- possible carrier delays; and
- local alterations.
Cancellation, postponement, relocation, or modification of a wedding or event does not change the Final Sale status of a custom order and does not create a right to cancellation or refund.
4. TRACKING AND INSURANCE
Bella Luna Gowns generally ships U.S. orders using tracked and insured delivery.
Tracking information will ordinarily be provided after the carrier accepts the package.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and making appropriate arrangements to receive the shipment.
Carrier tracking records, delivery scans, signatures, photographs, GPS records, pickup records, or other carrier documentation may be relied upon as evidence concerning shipment and delivery.
5. SIGNATURE OR SECURE DELIVERY MAY BE REQUIRED
Because Bella Luna Gowns garments are high-value items, we may require:
- an adult or recipient signature;
- signature confirmation;
- secure carrier pickup;
- delivery to a carrier access point;
- identification at pickup; or
- another reasonable secure-delivery method.
The customer is responsible for making arrangements to receive a shipment when a signature or pickup is required.
Failure to be available for delivery, failure to collect a package, or failure to provide identification required by a carrier does not cancel the order or create a refund right.
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR SHIPPING INFORMATION
THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING A COMPLETE AND ACCURATE SHIPPING ADDRESS.
Before placing an order, customers should carefully verify:
- recipient name;
- street address;
- apartment, suite, or unit number;
- city;
- state;
- ZIP code;
- telephone number; and
- any other information required for successful delivery.
Bella Luna Gowns is not responsible for delivery problems resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly entered customer-provided shipping information, except to the extent required by applicable law.
7. ADDRESS CHANGES
Customers should notify Bella Luna Gowns as soon as possible if a shipping-address change is necessary.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after:
- a shipping label has been created;
- the package has been transferred to the carrier; or
- the carrier has begun processing the shipment.
Carrier address corrections, intercepts, rerouting, or reshipment may result in additional charges.
Where the change results from customer-provided information or a customer request, the customer is responsible for applicable additional charges.
8. CARRIER DELAYS
After the carrier has possession of a shipment, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside Bella Luna Gowns' reasonable control, including:
- weather;
- natural disasters;
- transportation disruptions;
- carrier network delays;
- mechanical problems;
- labor disruptions;
- holidays;
- regional service interruptions;
- government action;
- customs;
- security inspections; or
- other carrier-related circumstances.
A carrier delay does not automatically create a right to cancel or refund a Final Sale custom order.
Bella Luna Gowns will reasonably assist customers when an insured shipment requires a carrier investigation or claim.
9. LOST SHIPMENTS
If tracking indicates that a package may have been lost in transit, the customer should contact Bella Luna Gowns promptly.
Where appropriate, Bella Luna Gowns may initiate or assist with a carrier or insurance investigation.
The customer agrees to reasonably cooperate with any carrier or insurance investigation, including providing information or documentation that may be requested.
A package undergoing a carrier investigation is not automatically considered permanently lost.
Any remedy for a confirmed lost shipment will be handled according to the circumstances of the claim, available shipping insurance, our contractual obligations, and applicable law.
10. PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED
When carrier records show that an order was delivered to the shipping address supplied by the customer or accepted by the customer or an authorized recipient, Bella Luna Gowns may rely on the carrier's delivery documentation as evidence of delivery.
If the customer believes a package marked delivered has been stolen or cannot be located, the customer should:
- check the delivery location;
- check with household members or authorized recipients;
- contact the carrier; and
- where appropriate, report suspected theft to local authorities.
Bella Luna Gowns will reasonably cooperate with carrier or insurance investigations.
Bella Luna Gowns is not responsible for theft occurring after documented delivery, except where required by applicable law.
11. SHIPPING DAMAGE
Customers should inspect their shipment promptly after delivery.
Visible shipping damage should be reported to Bella Luna Gowns within 48 hours whenever reasonably possible so that we can preserve and investigate any available carrier or insurance claim.
Customers reporting shipping damage should retain:
- the shipping box;
- shipping label;
- garment packaging;
- protective materials;
- the garment; and
- photographs or video showing the condition in which the package arrived.
Do not discard damaged packaging until Bella Luna Gowns confirms that it is no longer needed.
Reporting shipping damage does not itself create an automatic right to a refund.
Where applicable, Bella Luna Gowns may pursue a carrier or insurance claim and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with our other policies and applicable law.
12. REFUSED DELIVERY
REFUSING DELIVERY DOES NOT CANCEL AN ORDER AND DOES NOT CREATE A RIGHT TO A REFUND.
Custom and made-to-measure garments remain Final Sale even if the customer refuses the shipment.
If a package is returned because the customer:
- refuses delivery;
- fails to collect the package;
- fails to respond to carrier pickup notices;
- is unavailable for required delivery attempts; or
- otherwise prevents successful delivery,
the customer may be responsible for:
- return shipping;
- reshipping;
- carrier charges;
- storage;
- address correction; and
- other reasonable costs resulting from the failed delivery.
13. RETURNED OR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
If an order is returned to Bella Luna Gowns as undeliverable, we will attempt to contact the customer using the contact information associated with the order.
The customer is responsible for providing corrected delivery information and paying any applicable reshipping or carrier charges when the return resulted from customer-provided information or failure to accept delivery.
If the customer fails to provide delivery instructions, claim the garment, or pay applicable reshipping charges within 30 days after we notify the customer that the returned garment is available, Bella Luna Gowns may treat the garment as abandoned and handle, store, donate, dispose of, or otherwise address it as permitted by applicable law.
Abandonment does not create a refund right.
14. SPECIAL PICKUP ARRANGEMENTS
Bella Luna Gowns may, at its discretion, agree in writing to a special pickup arrangement, including pickup through a carrier location or another approved delivery location.
Special pickup is not automatically available and must be arranged with Bella Luna Gowns in advance.
The customer or authorized recipient may be required to:
- present government-issued identification;
- provide the order name or order number;
- sign an acknowledgment of receipt; or
- satisfy other reasonable identification requirements.
An order is considered delivered when it is released to the customer or authorized recipient at the agreed pickup location.
15. RUSH PRODUCTION AND EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Rush production and expedited shipping are separate services.
Paying for expedited shipping does not shorten the garment's production time.
Paying a rush-production fee does not guarantee carrier transit time.
A rush-production commitment applies only when Bella Luna Gowns expressly accepts the rush order in writing.
Carrier delays outside Bella Luna Gowns' reasonable control do not create a refund right merely because rush production or expedited shipping was purchased.
16. FINAL PHOTOS AND SHIPPING AUTHORIZATION
For qualifying new custom or bespoke gowns, Bella Luna Gowns may provide final photographs before shipment.
Where customer approval is requested, shipment may occur after the customer approves the final photographs or otherwise authorizes shipment.
A delay caused by the customer's failure to timely review or approve final photographs may delay shipment.
Bella Luna Gowns is not responsible for an event-date issue caused by delayed customer approval.
Final-photo approval is governed by our Custom Order Policy and does not constitute an in-person fitting or guarantee that alterations will not be required.
17. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Bella Luna Gowns primarily serves customers in the United States.
International shipping may be accepted only by prior arrangement or where Bella Luna Gowns expressly makes international shipping available.
For international orders, the customer is responsible for any applicable:
- customs duties;
- import taxes;
- VAT;
- brokerage fees;
- customs-clearance fees;
- local taxes; or
- other governmental or carrier charges
unless Bella Luna Gowns expressly states in writing that a particular charge is included.
Customs processing may delay delivery and is outside Bella Luna Gowns' direct control.
A customer is responsible for complying with import requirements applicable to their destination.
Refusal to pay duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other destination charges does not cancel a Final Sale custom order or create a refund right.
Shopify also recommends clearly disclosing international duties and import-tax handling in the shipping policy when applicable.
18. FORCE MAJEURE
Bella Luna Gowns is not liable for shipping or delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- natural disasters;
- fire;
- flood;
- earthquake;
- severe weather;
- epidemic or pandemic;
- war;
- civil disturbance;
- government action;
- labor disruptions;
- transportation failures;
- carrier interruptions;
- customs delays;
- power or internet outages; or
- other events beyond our reasonable control.
Such events do not automatically create a right to cancel or refund a custom order, subject to rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
19. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER BELLA LUNA GOWNS POLICIES
This Shipping & Delivery Policy should be read together with our:
- Terms of Service
- Returns, Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations Policy
- Custom Order Policy
- Privacy Policy
Custom and made-to-measure orders remain subject to Bella Luna Gowns' Final Sale provisions.
If a shipping issue also involves a claimed manufacturing defect, measurement issue, fit concern, or custom-design dispute, the applicable provisions of our Custom Order Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy also apply.
20. NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to eliminate a consumer right or remedy that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
Except for such legally required rights or remedies, shipping delays, refused delivery, customer address errors, event changes, or other circumstances described in this Policy do not convert a Final Sale custom order into a refundable order.
