Ondine Émeraude is a made-to-measure green and blue ombré fit-and-flare wedding dress and formal evening gown created for women who want color, movement, and couture-inspired surface detail. Layers of mint, teal, forest green, and blue tulle transition through the skirt, while glitter tulle and metallic floral lace appliqués introduce luminous gold embellishment. The appliqués are enriched with hand-applied rhinestones, crystals, sequins, and beads, forming a botanical composition that travels asymmetrically across the illusion neckline, fitted bodice, and flowing skirt. The result is a dimensional ombré gown that changes character as the light moves across it rather than appearing as one flat color.
The internally structured bodice includes built-in bra cups beneath a wide sheer illusion neckline. Sculptural tulle sweeps diagonally across the bodice and forms asymmetrical cap sleeves, creating the gown’s distinctive wrapped-shoulder effect. Radiating draping shapes the waist and upper hip before the skirt releases into a flare above the knee. Because the flare begins higher than a traditional mermaid skirt, Ondine Émeraude is accurately described as a fit-and-flare gown. A short inner lining provides coverage beneath the long sheer outer skirt layers, allowing the ombré color and embellished tulle to remain visible through the lower gown. The court train completes the silhouette with drama suited to an unconventional wedding, formal reception, gala, luxury evening celebration, or editorial portrait setting. Finished with a lace-up corset back and made individually to the wearer’s measurements, Ondine Émeraude balances adjustability, support, and statement color in one singular gown.

A Statement Gown for Weddings and Formal Evenings
Ondine Émeraude is designed for a bride who wants an unconventional colored wedding dress without sacrificing the presence and craftsmanship associated with formal bridalwear. Its green-and-blue ombré palette is especially striking for lakeside estates, European-inspired venues, castle terraces, formal gardens, twilight ceremonies, and dramatic indoor celebrations.
The gown may also be commissioned as a luxury evening gown for galas, formal receptions, milestone celebrations, pageants, and other black-tie occasions. The gold botanical embellishment gives the design an ornate, regal character, while its fitted silhouette keeps the overall appearance refined rather than costume-like.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ondine Émeraude
Is Ondine Émeraude a wedding dress or an evening gown?
It may be commissioned as either an unconventional colored wedding dress or a luxury formal evening gown. Its construction, train, internal support, and made-to-measure sizing give it the presence of formal bridalwear while remaining appropriate for galas and other black-tie occasions.
What colors are used in the gown shown?
The pictured gown transitions through mint, teal, green, and blue, with darker forest-green areas and gold botanical embellishment. The layered construction causes the colors to change in depth depending on lighting and movement.
Is Ondine Émeraude made to measure?
Yes. The gown is produced according to the measurements provided for the order. Minor local alterations may still be needed after delivery.
Is this gown a mermaid or fit-and-flare silhouette?
Ondine Émeraude is classified as fit-and-flare because the skirt begins releasing above the knee. It does not remain tightly fitted to the knee like a traditional mermaid gown.
Does the gown have built-in support?
Yes. The bodice includes internal support and built-in bra cups. The lace-up corset back also allows a degree of fit adjustment.
Is the skirt sheer?
The gown has a short inner lining beneath the long outer skirt. The lower portion relies on layered ombré and embellished tulle, creating intentional translucency and visual depth.
Is a petticoat included?
No. A petticoat is not included or required because Ondine Émeraude has a fitted, figure-skimming silhouette rather than a ball-gown skirt.
What is included with the order?
The order includes the gown only. Jewelry, veils, headpieces, gloves, and other accessories shown in styled imagery are not included.
Can the colors be customized?
Yes. Custom color combinations may be requested before production. Because several differently colored layers create the ombré effect, the proposed palette must be reviewed and approved before the order enters production.
Can the train length or coverage be changed?
Requests for changes to the train, lining, neckline coverage, or sleeve treatment may be reviewed before production. Feasibility and additional pricing depend on the requested modification.
How long does production take?
Production may take up to 16 weeks. We recommend ordering five to six months before the event to allow time for production, shipping, and possible local alterations.
Are custom orders returnable?
No. Because the gown is made to the customer’s measurements and approved specifications, all sales are final once production begins.
